House Blessing

Father Palatucci is offering parishioners the opportunity to have their home blessed. Barring a funeral or some other situation, He will be available the following days and hours to bless your homes:- (St. John's area only)
Friday, January 2, 10 am - Noon, 2 pm to 4 pm. - (St. John's area only.)
Monday, January 5, 10 am - Noon, 2 pm - 4 pm. - (St. Charles area only)
Tuesday, January 6, 10 AM - Noon, 2 PM - 4 PM - (St. John's area only)
Thursday, January 8, 10 AM - Noon, 2 PM - 5 PM.
It is possible to bless your home yourself! To read more scroll down on this page.
Please note that pastoral duties come first. Funerals, calls for last rites and other emergencies may pre-empt your house blessing. Want to Bless Your Own Home?
The head of the household, be it dad, mom, or a guardian, can conduct this rite without clergy present, if you prefer. It is best to use holy water around the house after completing the blessings. You can either sprinkle it or make a cross with it on the doorways.
